Krystal Watson LCSW
I believe therapy is powerful when it starts with genuine human connection. My approach is rooted in a psychodynamic lens, but I also use Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness CBT, and somatic approach. It is always my goal to keep a holistic view of mental health.
I am excited to work with individuals 13+ who don't want therapy to feel like a doctor's office. I have experience working with depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, dissociation, and trauma, as well as those navigating difficult diagnoses and changing life circumstances that leave them feeling stuck, afraid, or alone.
Haven't you heard? "Depression hates a moving target." (Nita Sweeney, 2019) I am happy to offer ecotherapy services to those who are interested. Whether it's just walking and talking, or a more thoughtful hike, I love to utilize our greatest resource here in Colorado: the beautiful landscape. Let's integrate nature into the healing process, drawing on its grounding and restorative qualities to support growth and reflection
